Psychotherapy & counselling services

About me / Luisa Nastasa-Paun, MIACP

I am an experienced psychologist and psychotherapist based in Dublin City Centre.

I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of clients, and issues such as: low self-esteem, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, anxiety, panic attacks, chronic blushing, low mood, stress, depression, mood swings, bereavement, grief, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia), bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, substance abuse and addiction, sexual disorders, borderline personality disorder, anger, LGBT issues, workplace issues (bullying, low job satisfaction, interpersonal problems), life transitions, trauma and abuse.

My therapeutic approach integrates theoretical background and techniques from Person-Centered Counselling, Choice Theory and Reality Therapy, Existential Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Multicultural Counselling. In other words, my approach to psychotherapy is not the rigid, "one size fits all" kind, but a more creative, personalised approach, constantly redesigned, restructured and improved in order to perfectly suit your individual needs. In the spirit of tailoring psychotherapy to the individual, please note that my services are available in the following languages: English, Romanian, and Portuguese.
